lid for the gf

the gf has been bugging me to take her on rides because ive taken her on a few and borrowed a friends helmet for her. now its probably going to become a more regular thing and was wondering what the ladies here would suggest. any lids tend to fit the lady riders better than other? im looking to spend as little on it as possible because i already spent a good chunk of money on my helmet (arai rx q) and shes not as important as me (im kidding, but id like to keep it around $300)

what size is it? the pic would be cool. im stationed oversees in germany and its a little hard to find a bike shop around here since im a bit in the sticks.

i know what you mean by it being your time, i dont like taking passengers but the gf really likes it.

I gave this one to my ex. Maybe that's why we're not together anymore?

You'll be able to buy a great helmet for way under 300.00!
There are many HJC, Scorpion and Agv at closeout prices.
You should easily be able to find a dot & snell approved helmet for around 100-150.00!
Good luck Mr. Phelps!

Re: lid for the gf

I know this is a bit old but figured I'd throw in my two cents for anyone else out there in a similar position. I just picked up a helmet for my wife. Same helmet I wear. It's the seven zero seven backlash helmet. The recoil version had a pretty cool looking female print. It's a cycle gear brand. For the money it's outstanding. The sticker price is 199. They are almost always on sale for around 150-175. They got a great feeling soft liner, very comfy with good ventilation. You'd be hard pressed to find a good looking ECE certified fiberglass (so it's light like the much much more expensive helmets are) for under 200. Over the holidays the jester print one was on sale for 109.

Re: lid for the gf

yeah this is an old post but I have an idea.

How about you just take her to a supply shop give her a couple hundreds bucks and tell her to pick one out.....

Also you should teach her to DRIVE a motorcycle
