Sta-bil mixing

Tried calling Golden Eagle products but haven't got a response. Any issue with mixing Sta-bil Storage and 360 Protection?

I want the 2 years of fuel stabilizer with Storage, as 360 is only a year. And I want the ethanol treatment of the 360. Thoughts? This is for small engines and I have no access to non ethanol fuels in my area or most of NJ for that matter.

Re: Sta-bil mixing

Small engine fuel that I haven't used by the end of the season, and is then stored over winter until the next spring, is mixed with StaBil Storage when the cans are filled.

I use StaBil 360 in each bike refill to keep it from absorbing water but a tank isn't stored for long periods. If I had to store it more than a month I'd add some StaBil Storage to it but I think 360 does the same thing anyway. Would be good to hear what the mfgr says.

I never keep fuel two years & hope I never have to, so don't want to find out if the products work that long.

I can't realize the potential of my gsxr on the street but I can realize the potential of the street on my gsxr.

This is mainly for a generator I don't use much. So it sits for long periods. The manufacturer says Storage keeps fuel fresh for 2 years. 360 is 1 year. I have gone close to 2 years and the carbs are gum free and it fires right up. It does work.

You might double check the stabil storage label again. The two year stabil product i use for my weed eater gas also had the ethanol treatment in it as well.

Im holding the bottle as I type. Stabil Storage can be used with ethanol blended fuels but it does not protect against ethanol damage. It's just a fuel stabilizer. The Stabil 360 does.

And that would be completely correct. Went to go see what i was using to post up a pic, then it dawned on me... Weed eater 2-stroke mix. Completely talking out of my ass!

Re: Sta-bil mixing

Why not just use ethanol free gas instead of using stabil in shitty junk gas?

Shit. Been drinkin. Didn't see that you don't have access to ethanol free.....

Here is Michigan there is an ethanol free pump under an hour from any city your in. Maybe it's all the water (boats)

Yeah only 12 locations in the state. No where close in NY either. Most have only 100 octane race fuel.
