Slip on exhaust question.

So I just picked up an 09 gsx-r 1000 and I want to get rid of that hideous stock exhaust. I’ve been looking at slip ons, but can’t seem to get any info on ones that do or don’t get rid of the cat. I don’t want to get rid of the cat because I don’t want to buy a power commander just yet. Anybody have any info on slip on exhausts that keep the cat in place?? Even if they’re just the dual shorty megaphone.

Re: Slip on exhaust question.

Single slip-ons remove cat, cat stays with dual slip-ons (if you don't use Y de-cat link pipe).
