Cool eu or usa ?

i have k9 1000 black with (red/cherry) color and heard that this color is USA model, not europe.

is it true or not ? and can u tell me the difference between usa and europe

When you turn off the ignition, do you have a red key light flashing on the dashboard? Does your engine temp say F or c?

Not sure the the rev counter is from a 1000 K9, as it should red line at 13,750rpm. Well mine does!

I think you mis-read the J as a Y at the start.
and otherwise the numbers are correct, yours is the 2372 bike in the EU, hence the number at the end being 2372 instead of 00001

sorry, you are right. In fact based on the top chart (which I slightly misread) your bike is a UK bike, not EU which should have had a 2 closer to the start of the number sequence.

The information I posted was a cut and paste from the factory service manual.

I would hazard to guess they are the same bike exactly. If you need to know the movements of the bike, you would need to contact Suzuki in those two regions and ask which one supplied it.
