problem with bike

I purchased a bazzaz fuel unit an zafm controller, I hooked it all up and now the fuel pump does not come on and the motor will not turn over, any suggestions would be appreciated. I have checked all the fuses they are fine.

Re: problem with bike

How about disconnecting things one at a time in reverse until things work again?

Re: problem with bike

Check your harnesses and power/grounds when you installed everything. Doesn't sound like fuses.

Re: problem with bike

Does it try to crank and turn over or nothing at all when you hit the starter?

Check kickstand switch and clutch switch just to be sure they are tight and secure.

Re: problem with bike

You're not getting power to the bazzaz. When i installed mine i had the same problem, in my excitement and haste i tied into the wrong wire for power, it acted exactly like yours until i tied into the right wire. Also double check your ground.

Re: problem with bike

Which wire did you tie into an where did you run your ground to?

Re: problem with bike

Orange/white wire off of white connector not connected to anything. Ground was mounted to back of engine.
