Installing different ECU

Is there anything special I have to do or check on my 07 gsxr750 when installing a used ecu, also from a 07 750? Or is it just plug and go?

+1 Suzuki just says to be sure to turn the ignition switch to off. But that's not good enough IMO. Disconnect the battery. The ECM is too important.
