Extended, Lowered.........Bottom out?

On my 2000 750 I extened the swing-arm 4-6 inches. I lowered the rear with those three slot dogbones. Rides great , but when I have a passenger on the back I have a tendancy to bottom out. How do I stiffen the rear suspention? Is this easy enough to adjust that I could do it on-the-fly? Any special tools? Is there are better setting for when drag racing?

Re: Extended, Lowered.........Bottom out?

best settings for drag racing that I have good results with:

Compression soft, rebound hard, this slams the rear and keeps it that way for the entire 1/4.

Best for riding a passenger, just the opposite, compression hard, and rebound soft. This wont allow the rear to drag nearly as much, and will have a pretty quick but soft ride.

Thanks I'll give it a try when I get a chance. Bike is stripped down at the moment, gettin' ready for summer yet.
