Suzuki GP-TRE

The GP-TRE is an advanced Timing Retard Eliminator which preserves the function of the OEM dash gear position indicator. All of Suzuki's late models sportbikes have electronic circuitry which retards the ignition timing in the first four gears and on some models the first Five gears, which also reduces horsepower. Another problem which is caused by the ignition timing being retarded is a choppy throttle response. For road racers this is very critical since it will upset the drive off the corner. This GP-TRE effectively solves this problem! Simply installing our GP-TRE unit will greatly increase horsepower and improve throttle response in the first four or five gears depending on model.See our website for all the details at: http://www.danosperformance.com/Suzuki%20GP-TRE.htm

Will this one still only indicate 5th gear or will it show 6th?

This one should indicate all gears correctly.

Re: Suzuki GP-TRE

I got it to reduce the engine braking as I felt it was excessive.

Re: Suzuki GP-TRE

Installed Sat. night. Noticed a difference yesterday. Really seems smoother in gears 1-5 below 5000 RPM on my K7 1000
