The SR22

Am thinking about getting an SR22 for a .22 plinking pistol. It isn't for my home defense or concealed carry, just to play with and practice some at the range (with something I can afford to shoot). I have been looking at it because I don't like the way so many .22 autos look like space guns and I hate revolvers (not trying to upset anyone or start anything just I don't like them). I have read the reviews from a few magazines but was looking for an actual owners opinion, or that of someone who shot it and decided not to buy one.

Re: The SR22

The sr22 is a great little pistol. Seems to be less finicky then it's main competition the walther p22, or even the sig mosquito. Can't really go wrong with it as a plinking pistol. Solid gun from a solid company at a decent price. I'd say get it.

Also might look at the 22/45 Lite(alum upper, poly lower).
