I'd suggest you modify your grip to one that controls the recoil better. You'll find the front sight settles faster and provides faster follow-up shots. You've got some beefy forearms and can use both of them to act equally as shock absorbers instead making your shooting arm take the brunt of the recoil.

With the rifle you can extend your support hand to the end of the handguard to gain more recoil control. I couldn't tell what size handguard your rifle had so it may not work for you. With a carbine handguard the grip will be tough. For more success at gun games you're better off building up a rifle with a full length gas system and an adjustable gas block. Don't get too caught up with my criticism though, just learn to run what you've got in the most effective way.
