Tutorials on adjusting extractor?

Anyone know of any tutorials online on how to adjust the length of an extractor on the bolt in a semi auto rifle? I have a new one on the way, the factory tech made it seem pretty simple but I've never done it or seen it done. I need to replace one on my Feather AT22. Thanks.

This covers tuning for the Ruger 10-22. Hopefully it gives you enough insight to accomplish what you'd like.

Thanks, at least it's a start. All I could find was a ton of stuff on 1911's, but that's a totally different animal.
