GSXR 1100 W 1996 K&N Replacement Filter

Hi, i changed the Airfilter to K&N Replacement. Engine is not accelerate well. Probably need bigger Main Jets.
I looked in the cabs today: four 130ījets and poor float measures.
Can not get the float assembly in the hole with the O-Ring again. Bad O-Rings ??

Thanks and greetings from Denmark

K&N Filter + Aftermarket pipe = Stage I jet kit
New seals and gaskets, float valve, needle, needle jet are always a good idea if never replaced.

Re: GSXR 1100 W 1996 K&N Replacement Filter

Changed to 135" jets on all carbs, new O-Rings on floater assembly ( the old ones was to thick !? ). 14,7 mm float level on all carbs ( difficult because the float assembly is not fixed without bowl )
Pivot screws 3 turns out. Runs great, but needs sync.
Nice sound and much better acceleration than the old paper filter.

The idle jets are marked: (square) 15
Is it the standart size ?

The proper thing to do is put it on a dyno and see what the AFR is, or just buy a wideband and do the same thing, then adjust the jet sizing.

JUst putting a K&N filter in it made it run that differently? Touchy little buggers. aren't they?
