I'm in the process of plopping a 1994 1100W motor into my 93 600W chassis, and I suspect that I've run into a little issue.
For some reason I felt that the CDI I got with the bike looked a little sus. Sure enough, I look it up (32900-20C10) and it's for a stupid Katana 750, 89-96. Is this some type of trick upgrade that I don't know about? Or did I get stuck with a bullshit CDI?
ALSO, I didn't find too much in the search about this and thought it might be useful to start a thread with igniter P/N's for our era bikes. Here, I'll start:
Are any of these cdi's interchangable? My bike originally had 32900-46e40, but bought a 32900-46e50 when I started having issues but it had a huge stutter at 3-4000 rpm where it would hesitate. I went back to the original but when it gets warm she seems to cut out on a cylinder? I'm not sure if it's carb related or CDI/coils??
