GSXR1100 1991m Wheel spacer

Hi all, someone please put me out of my misery, which way round does the wheel spacer sit? I've looked in manual and schematic and now I'm confused.

Gsxr1100 m front wheel spacer, widest part against bearing? Or vice versa?

Re: GSXR1100 1991m Wheel spacer

the widest part goes up against the wheel bearing, as it is supposed to be a "cover/protector".
