UFC® 116 LESNAR vs. CARWIN

As bad as I want Lesnar to die. I really don't think there is anybody out there today that has the ability to beat him. Given Carwin is a BAMF, Lesnar is just too big.

I can't stand Lesnar's ego though.

How do you think this fights going to turn out?

I've got Lesnar in round 2, as much as I don't want it to turn out that way I have a feeling Lesnar's coming out on top.

Re: UFC® 116 LESNAR vs. CARWIN

Lesnar is a bad ass and you have to remember, he came from the magical WWF so he's all about entertainment. Did you see the one fight (forgot which one) where they boo'ed him and he said he loved it and "keep it coming"?

I think Lesnar is just what that sport needs; a villain that is damn near undefeatable. There is no one out there that will be able to beat him. When Mir did it, it was pure lack of experience on Lesnar's part (but if you watched the fight, Lesnar threw that fuck around like a rag doll and beat him pretty good for the two minutes before he got caught). I'm not saying he can't be beat, but to agree with you that right now, there isn't anyone out there that can beat him. I hope he crushes Carwin but that motherfucker is tough too.

Fight Card

Carwin has to really over skill Lesnar. Lesnar is way too big and strong for any fighter in the UFC. Since Carwin is close to Lesnar's size; he's has to rely on his skill and experience to beat Lesnar.

Lesnar over Carwin, second round knock out.

Re: UFC® 116 LESNAR vs. CARWIN

I think its legitimately 50/50. Carwin is quite close to his size, out skills him in almost all facets of the sport aside from MAYBE wrestling due to sheer size and strength, shows the exact same killer instinct as Lesnar does and has ridiculously heavy hands.

I think the true test will be when he lands one of his punches. Lesnar has never truly been hit by a powerful striker, iirc. Carwin is just that a legit striker and a formidable grappler/wrestler. I think it might be the most interesting fight in a long time because I think they are so closely matched.

For the record I want Lesnar to win. But if he does I don't think it will be domination.

There is no doubt its going to be a good fight. Part of me would like to see him get knocked the fuck out just to see it done because there aren't many that I think actually can do it. I want Lesnar just to murder people cause he's such an animal!

Re: UFC® 116 LESNAR vs. CARWIN

The only beef I have with Lesnar is his cockiness. I just died when he said he was the "best" heavy weight champion ever... I can't stand people that are so full of themselves. This is why I want to see Carwin come into the octagon and cold cock him.

I agree that he is ridiculously cocky, but like someone else mentioned previously, his pedigree comes from the world of WWF or E whatever the hell that shitty stuff is. He is an entertainer, and a good one at that.

While I generally really really dislike overly cocky people, I don't mind Lesnar because I feel he can back up anything he says.

To this day, my favourite quote from him is :

Q - How much can you bench press?
A - Whatever I want.

I believe him too. haha

I must have missed that quote. Was that during an interview with UFC?

I've been having that problem lately where I get too drunk before the main event even starts. Then I wake up the next morning like who in the hell won last night.

I think they should just put all the other fights to the end of the card and start off with the main event.

I'm not sure if that would exactly be the smartest thing to do, but then I wouldn't have to get up the next morning and look up all the shit on the interwebs trying to find out who won.

It's a bar that's growing from city to city that actually started where I live.

IIRC they are actually 14oz drafts. It's Keystone Light, but it's a fucking dollar, and it gets me drunk. I could honestly care less.

It pretty much is, except that the girls there are younger, well, compared to the Hooters girls we have here in town. I'm not sure about all Hooters, but the ones that are here seem to be on the older side. There is nothing wrong with that though.

Plus I love wings. I mean I'm a wing eating freak. I personally think Show Me's wings are better than Hooter's wings.

The Hooters girls here are between 18 - 23.

I usually go to BW3s to watch the fight, but this time I'm gonna switch it up and go to Bikini's.
