Lesnar on UFC

Did anyone catch the Lesnar Match on UFC this past weekend on Spike TV. I watched him fight before and wasn't impressed. However seeing him on UFC he definitely looks like a strong heavy weight contender. His wrestling background definitely helps him wear down his opponents and he was quite aggressive the moment his punch connected and the guy literally fell back words. Lesnar is fast for a big dude. Do you think he has a good future in UFC.

On a side note, i would like to see Lesnar F the Sh*t out of Kimbo, since Kimbo tried to be a hard ass in his last fight and got owned within 30-45 seconds of the match.

Re: Lesnar on UFC

Brock seems to try and lay on guys and wear them out which works with other big lazy guys (Tim Slyvia and such) but will not work againest someone like Randy who moves around.Brock needs to learn some ground skills and he could dominate.

BTW Kimbos last fight lasted 14 seconds with Seth.

Re: Lesnar on UFC

Heath Herring definitely isn't a 'big lazy guy', that's for sure.

Will be interesting to see how Lesnar reacts if anyone mounts him. I give Lesnar a decent shot in any fight if he can use his wrestling strengths.

And not saying Kimbo's a great fighter but I think that other dude got a bit lucky with that KO, the way he was backing up awkwardly.

Re: Lesnar on UFC

why does anyone want to see Lesnar fight Kimbo?!?!?!

Hes already been exposed by a washed up light heavy weight.

Re: Lesnar on UFC

I really don't care for a possible matchup between Lesnar and Slice.

However I would rather watch Lesnar against a seasoned veteran obviously. I would like to see experience go against someone who is fresh to the sport but with pretty good strength.

Re: Lesnar on UFC

I wonder how good a fight between Brock and Brandan Vera would be. It just seems the heavyweight division is missing fighters that get people talking

Re: Lesnar on UFC

Vera is a light heavyweight now. He'd be dominated by Lesnar due to just sheer size and strength. Let's see what Randy can do against Lesnar

Re: Lesnar on UFC

OK I thought Vera was only dropping for a little while. I think Randy is going to take care of Brock but after that fight the the Heavyweight division seems to lack the fighters needed to draw people to watch them. Are more guys going down to Light Heavyweight?

+1 on that, Dana White has already said on numerous occasions that kimbo slice isnt the caliber of fighter he looks for and would never be accepted into the UFC.

(but he lets that punk Junie stay on TUF???)

Junie looked terrible his last fight. the dude he fought was probabaly the absolute worst fighter EVER! he hit like an old lady, and Junie won by decision and dissed the guy for having a "fake black belt" in JJ but never wanted the fight to go to the ground.

Agreed. Junie looked terrible. Remember in the house when he said Roli wouldn't make it past the first round??? That was a piss poor performance by Junie. I hope he gets his ass handed to him next fight.
