Amsoil riders

I always buy amsoil in all my machines

Oem says to put 10-40 while my dealer says 20-50 is better on my gsxr1000 2004

I do not go on tracj vut i like to go fast on highway

What do you use . suggest. And why

Only for AMSOIL oil users

Summer here is between 15 oC and 30 oC

Amsoil 20-50 is optimized for air cooled engines. The 10-40 is for liquid cooled. It will not hurt your motor to run the 20-50 but what the hell do the engineers that built it know?

The people who designed and built your bike know a hell of a lot more about it than the idiot at the dealership needs to meet zero qualifications in order to hold his job.

Whatever someone at the dealership tells you you should do.....you should probably do the opposite
