Oil Bonding???

Soooo I recently used Mobil 1 4t in my K6 750 and was not impressed.. switching back to spectro golden...

The question is, I talked to a Tech the other day who told me that Mobil 1 4t and Amsoil actually bond to the inside of the case and parts and that if I just threw different oil in, it wouldnt lubricate as well because the film of M1-4T would still be on it...
he suggested get an oil flush kit from auto zone or something before switching..

it there any truth to this? Does it bond to the internals??

Re: Oil Bonding???

I wouldn't hesitate to just put in the next oil. It will all mix together. Diluting one with the other doesn't make either turn funny, or become anything dangerous. There is probably more risk in using an oil flush.
