Unhappy Oil condensation

Hello, I have done some reading in the other post about milky white oil, and I think I have condensation in my oil. I'm pretty sure its just from winter storage b/c its very little and no coolant loss. I wanted to see what the best way to flush/get rid of it is!! I had put cheap oil in before the winter (this is when I noticed it) and I also added some engine cleaning oil or something that I picked up from walmart. should i flush again?

Thanks

Re: Oil condensation

Check your airbox for moisture.

Dunno what the engine cleaning oil might be. Doesn't sound like a good idea to me.

Drain and refill should get rid of it. If it comes back, you have another issue.

Re: Oil condensation

Had the same thing happen to mine, its probably just condensation from storage/maybe just starting and shutting off before it warms up. Changing the oil and letting it get up to operating temp. and running it for a while should help clear it up. Not sure if the engine cleaner is good for the clutch or not, but I'd probably get it out of there quickly. Hope this helps.

Re: Oil condensation

Please don't use and "engine flush or cleaner". Ride the bike, let the oil get up to temp, not just the coolant. As said if it doesn't burn off, you have other problems.
