Help Help..

Guys I have an 07 750 gixxer with 4300 mi and when I start it, the RPMs go up to like 2.5 and in 5 seconds it goes down to less than 1 RPM.

I wanted to ask if that is normal?

And my main problem is that when the bike is Idle, it sounds kind a weird like it needs a valve job. (I dont know if its just me).

is it because the rpm is too low? or do i need a valve job???

thanks guys.

Re: Help Help..

When you rev it and hold the rpm's up around 4k does it sound normal. IF it sounds good while reving your battery could be going out. The bike doesn't produce voltage until the rpm's are above 3k.
