Rear hugger

Hi I just got a rear hugger for my gsxr 1000 k2 , and there don’t seem to be any fixing holes on the offside of the swing arm . Does the hugger just use the 3 on the near side and float on the offside . If someone knows could you let me know before I do something stupid like drilling and tapping a 6 mm hole lol cheers Sibo08
