What Would You Have Done: Lane Merging Edition

Quote:
As motorcyclists, weíre all too familiar with car drivers merging into our lanes, seemingly blind to the fact weíre occupying the lane they are trying to merge into. But whatís proper etiquette when a two-lane road turns into one? Which order should vehicles in a double-file line let each other into a single-file line? Whatever your answer, itís probably not what this woman was thinking as she comes from behind this motorcyclist and co-occupies the lane heís in. He then gets upset, honks the horn a few times, gives the driver a quick lesson in merging, calls her a choice expletive then rides on.

Normally thatís where a story like this would end. Instead, he spots a police officer up ahead, flags him down, and sticks him on the car driver.

What an asshat. He sees the car coming but instead of yielding to merging traffic, accelerating, braking or ANY form of basic common sense (any/all of which could be done 5 times during his hissy fit), he just stays there and even proceeds to ride into 'her' lane after she was already in front.

Yes, the car should have slowed down and is an idiot... but given how sloooooowly that event transpired, the rider is being a giant drama queen.

The motorcyclists is just being an idiot, they should have dropped back and let the car in or accelerated forward sooner and stayed in front.

mountains and molehills.
This is the sort of thing you have to expect from car drivers isn't it?
The rider should have been at least 3 jumps ahead of the dopey car driver, and been in front or behind, (ie in control of the situation) rather than expecting the car to be courteous. Then running to plod ? His bike was quick enough then wasn't it!
Novice.
