the old ones are too short.... what's the best way to go about getting some longer ones..

custom made ( $$$$$ )
or hit the junkyard and hopefully find something?

If you've got the time and energy (and junkyards) I'd go investigate... I *suspect* that you'll find cables from a similar bike (RF-900 or katana maybe?) that will work if you search a while and get lucky.

I found the salvage yard the best, but if you have to go new than give the bandit a look at. They come stock with high bars( as you already know).

yeah.... that just came to me today and I phoned around.... seems like they would be compatible but not sure about length... so i think i'll hit the junkyard tomorrow.
