um yeah, ANY OTHER TRUCK ON THE MARKET! Land Rover's have horrible reliability. I know, we have a Land Rover dealer in the complex I work in.

bad ass offroad...better than anything offroad outside a hummer H1....i have an 00' disco II SE....if you're getting one get an SE....it comes with dual sunroofs, real leather, heated seats/windshield..etc,etc,etc... and btw get ready for big repair bills

Oh my! I was thinking of buying a used land rover! I think people either love this car or hate it. Alot of my friends hate the way it looks, I think it looks bad ass!

looks wise i love mine, performance wise i love it as well...reliability...i can't say the same....maybe i got a lemon idk... but www.discoweb.org is a great forum for land rovers and range rovers

thanks guys, whats the difference between an "S" and an "SD" and "SE" and "HSE?" haha i cant seem to find it anywhere. and i want a landrover because i need a truck, but im a non-american kind of car guy. (and mercedes and BMW just dont cut it with their frootloop SUVs) and i like the way they drive, they are really comfortable. and, i know people who have had them, chilly, and they dont have bad service problems, and its cheaper to fix then my bmw 3 series im sure!

you may get lucky and get a decent one.. probably not,, and did it not occur to you why a $50k truck that is only 3 years old is going for $16k, even with that mileage? their value seems to drop faster that than a $2 hookers panties..

That FJ is nasty looking IMO. I know some here like it but being a Toyota fan I think it looks like Tyco and Playskool did it and that was the illegitimate lovechild that Toyota adopted.

Agreed. They, like HD, must have a very good marketing/advertising company, though. Premium price for an inferior product. People still line up to buy them...........

Then why are you looking at an american SUV? Land rover is owned by Ford. An American company.
