Well, where to start. My mom was dating this coke-blowing pagan (gang member) who's a loose cannon. He's threatened me with a baseball bat, and said he was gonna kill me (i moved into my own place the next day); and started all this crazy shit.
Now, he started threatening my sister, and mom. I put a keylogger on this freaks computer, he's looking at shemales, gay porn, all sorts of wierd shit.
Fast forward to last week:
My mom kicks his ass out when he hits my sister, says he is going to "kill that fucking cunt". Keep in mind my sister is the most innocent little 9 year old you will ever meet.
So I'm staying here now, cause this guy is all in the pagans, has multiple outstanding warrants and a criminal record longer than mpd's beard.
Needless to say, last night the neighbors called the police because they saw two big guys on "loud motorcycles, like from that show american chopper" trying to break in to my mom's SECOND STORY APARTMENT (you can only get in from the outside first floor, or patio second floor) while my sister was at my aunts with my mom, and I was out with friends.
I looked at the damage when i got home from work today. There were crowbar marks and boot marks around the downstairs door, crowbar marks around the sliding glass door on the patio (the siding was all ripped off near the patio, someone climbed up it), the storage closet door near the patio is all fucked up, off the hinges, crowbar "dents" on the door.
No one climbes up the side of a building and tries to break into a storage closet unless they want something in there. There are 80+ first floor units, and the only shit in our outside closet belongs to him.
Needless to say, I'm not leaving until my sister is out of danger. Fuck my mom, she's the moron who called the guy today to tell him. He immediately asked if the cops thought he was a suspect.
But if this prick thinks he can send his motorcycle gang around here, harass my fucking family and endanger my sister, he's out of his mind.
The reasons I think it's him:
Loud-motorcycles "like from american chopper"...breaking in.. Sounds like something that a motorcycle gang would ride, and do. and he is a fucking pagan, with a loud chopper.
This was only a few days after my mom kicked him out.
The person knew when no one would be home.
The only thing of interest to anyone in there belonged to him.
No one makes that kind of effort to break into a very difficult to access 2nd floor apartment, when there are 80+ first floor units in the complex with much more appealing things both inside and out, unless they want something specific. By-the-way, no other apartments were touched except this one.
Anyway, on to my question... What the fuck do I do? My mom wont let me take my sister out of this environment, and I'm not going to leave her here. The only thing I really care about in this situation is her. Fuck the dude, and fuck my mom, she keeps taking him back, and is out with him at this very moment, after saying to me that she knew he had something to do with it.
I have my ar-15 here, with two 30-rd magazines. Mags out, gun in gun locker when im not home, mags in, locked and loaded right next to my bed with my door locked when im asleep. I'm very wary of keeping a potentially deadly weapon in the house with a 9 year old; but I trust I have educated her properly, and that keeping it in my gun locker with the mags locked up seperately when im not home, and the gun in my possession at all times when it's ready to go.
I really don't want to even think about using it, but if someone is threatening the life of my baby sister, I won't blink if the time comes.
I'm freaking out here. My grandmom had a stroke 12 days ago, she's on the verge of death, life support the whole 9-yards, and this shit has to happen, with my mother antagonizing it.

CALL THE POLICE. Tell them your situation and maybe they'll recommend a shelter for your mom and sister. Shelters for abused women are kept secret (the address) so abusive people can't locate them.

Called the police, they came out and dusted for prints, etc etc. My mom refuses to leave, and she has custody of my sister.
My aunt is using her drug abuse, his drug abuse, and the entire situation as a basis to try to get custody of my sister, buy until that happens, she is here and in danger.
I got an emergency restraining order for myself and my sister, he cant come withing a certain distance of the house... But like the cop said, restraining orders are like speed limits, they are very easy to break. Cops also said they will send a car out at least every hour to go through the complex.
I don't know how much more I can do, but i need to get my sister out of here.
And I dont know if I made it clear enough, my mom is still talking to the guy, they are out at dinner now. He someone convinced her to go out on a date with him, and she is buying up all the "I love you, Im sorry" bullshit.
Can you play the dad card???? Is your sister's biological father around??? He can have her pulled out of that house in a heartbeat. He has a whole lot of power in this situation. Even if he is not willing to take her in, he can turn her over to you where you can take her somewhere safe.
I had a friend that was in a very similar situation. Once her dad caught wind of the situation, she was out of the house in a matter of hours. Her dad couldn't take care of her, but he still wanted his daughter to be safe. He had child services pull her out of the house and then he turned her over to her grandmother for care.
The big problem here is that there are 1%'ers involved. I have no advice on how to deal with them. They are not reasonable people.... the best thing to do is to create space between them.
If you need anything, I live near the Ohio/Pa border and I have a mostly empty house if you need.

Man up, take your sister, get the evidence you need, and take custody.

My aunt has an appt. tomorrow to get emergency custody of my sister, she can live with her and my cousin. I live in a 1br apartment, no where near her school and can't afford to lose work to take her to and from school.
I went to the hospital to visit my grandmother, guess who was there? Mom and guy. Funny. As soon as he saw me, he got up, left, didnt say a word. I havent seen either one of them since. My sister is sleeping in the "office" (spare bedroom with computer) where im at.
This is ludacris that we have to go through this, but im confident things will change tomorrow. I already called my boss and got off work, so i'll be dropping off my sister and picking her up, to take her to my aunts house.
I'd rather stick with the law, my mother is crazy and she will call the police if i take my sister. All I need is a kidnapping charge. I put up with this for one night, hopefully tomorrow my aunt will get custody. I'll probably stay with her for a while until she is acclimated, then may be try to work something out where she can stay at my apartment.
I dont care what my mom and him do, i just want my sister out of this situation. It's going to suck having to have her aunt as a mom; but it's better than having someone with an uncontrollable reliance on H and blow, who cant hold a job or provide for her as a mother. I'm just happy we have a good family to help out.

Hey Rev., if your aunt does get custody make sure she ups her security on the house just in case psycho ass mommy and the b/f decide to try and kidnap her. I hope your mom doesn't rely on the welfare checks otherwise she may just go completely crazy.

First thing that came to my mind as well... Unfortunately, it adds a lot of instability and violent emotion to the situation. The other downside is they usually hold a grudge, and acts of disrespect don't go unpunished, so to speak. It's a whole other culture, whole other set of rules. Cops also won't do shit to them.
My advice? Hope they go away, and do NOT treat the guy like your enemy, unless you want him to be. And keep the AR around...
shitty situation bro. sounds like you and your aunt are on the right path. i know myself and i might not take the smart route that you are taking. for hitting my baby sister i would beat his fucking ass. and if he came back or any of his gang buddies came around looking for payback id be forced to kill them (in self defense of course).
