well, i gotta gixxer 750, 1986, and my 2nd gear is wack. when in 2nd, i feel some kind of bogging affect (feels exactly like it sounds). anyone know what it might be? by the way, it also slips, meaning, more throttle but no acceleration. hook me up.

does it only do it in 2nd gear? may be a clutch slipping

Hmm, bogging AND slipping... make your mind up man!
Chances are if your 750 is still on the original clutch then it needs heavy duty springs and new plates anyway, so do that as a matter of oucrse - if you've changed the plates then it's worthwhile changing the springs, and visa versa. If you've done both and it still does the same thing then give up... er, I mean check out what kind of oil you're using. My 750G did have semi-sythentic oil and it slipped a touch and used a lot of oil. I changed to mineral oil and it stopped the clutch sliiping and now it uses no oil at all...
