[img]images/icons/smile.gif[/img] thats not stupid,unless your riding it without yer skid lid.my gsxr's parked until the roads are dry again.not enough snow for the sled,buti can still break out the ol suzuki pe175,extra rims with sheet screws incase the lake freezes and we still dont have snow.honda 4wheeler is allways out and about,just cant stand to not be riding something,am I alone with this problem?
No I wouldn't ride without my lid!!! This picture was taken as a joke. However it got me to thinking, and yes, the next time it snows I'm cranking up the DR and I'm gonna get my wife to film me doing stand-ups while the snow comes down!!! As far as ellsworth? Well, only take a couple of rides up there a year since my brother runs the peir at southwest lobster in southwest harbor. Long ride to make if I gotta make it with a bunch of harley riders doing a steady 50mph all the way up.(Parents and Parents friends) I do ride a lot in the augusta area though and would be willing to make a trip up north. Porb won't be till summer as I am in Las Vegas for another 5-6 months.
Holy shit there IS life in this state (ME) other than me! I've been casting a line in these waters every spring since I joined the board hoping to find some other Mainers and now I see you have finally arrived! I don't post much but have been here since the beginning (member #13). A spring gathering of Maine's Gixxer.com menbers is a must!
Good to see that others are suffering here like me and JulieD while the wind howls outside.
Anyway, if you guys are interested in a group ride this spring/summer I think that would be awesome! [img]graemlins/thumbup.gif[/img] I live about 25 minutes from Acadia National Park which has some of the best riding in the state, just my opinion here. But I would be willing to host the meeting point and throw a BBQ for anyone interested. We have room at the house for a few overnighters for those of you that have a long distance to travel. Let me know, it would help to shorten the winter months if we had some sort of Spring excitement planned.
