Org. silencer mod

HI guys..

i have a track day bike, and it has original exhaust system on it.. and i also have like 3 original silencers.

What i would like to do is to get a bit more sound from the original silencer for trackdays (as i would like the other drivers to be able to hear me better).

Is there a way of gutting/modding the original silencer, and how should i do it? to make it louder

any one ??
Cheers
Peter

Keep it stock - a lot of tracks around here have noise regulations... Besides, on the track, the only bikes behind you you can hear are the big twins - I4s don't make enough noise to hear over your own exhaust when you're wearing ear plugs...

Nu er der sgu kun en måned tilbage

Re: Org. silencer mod

i know about the noise regulations on some tracks.. but as i have 3 original cans then im not really worried about that

just wanted to have the option of making it sound a bit more nice, and be more noticeable when im coming up behind people (like that is gonna happen alot LOL).

(martin .. i have booked R4F days- 21-22 May ... will you be there? )

Think not - I'll take the 3x2 days www.team-trackday.dk have this year instead - considerably cheaper, 20 minute sessions instead of 15 and the guy who arranges R4F is an arrogant prick - IMHO...

Nope, I'll pass on Mantorp - too far away for only 2 days. I'll take the 2x2 on Knutstorp that are already planned plus the 2 they don't have the exact dates for. Plus the 5 days in France of course - and a couple of race weekends with DMU
