if you try to "Save Target As", you will need to change the filename extension from .htm to .wmv (I dunno why my server does this, I'm too lazy to fix it)
I wanna see but I'm havin trouble downloading this file.
I get a message
"Internet Explorer was not able to open this Internet site. The requested site is either unavailable or cannot be found. Please try again later."
Is it me or is something wrong with your site?
very cool. id love to get myself on video around the track. keep it up maniac. and take those darn mirrors off on the track.
thanks all, yeah i was slack in not taking mirrors off, but i had to ride the bike to the track and home again, which is around 120km ride. the bike behind me was a gixxer 1k.. dave from the 1000 forums here was following me, a good tool to see my lines etc, coming into the down hill right hander i stuffed up exit lil, need to be in 2nd and short shift to 3rd.. awesome track, as you can see only 3 corners where i really needed to use the brakes
and thanks to JP for hosting
i cant wait for 2 more months for when my next track day is there, may do one before that as well.. philip island is very fast and flowing track, the 1st corner, the fast guys are in 5th and flat out, i take it in 4th gear, left hander onto short straight, where the next left is taken at around 220km/h in 4/5.. the hairpins are done in around 80-110 depending on skills, the last corner you are normally exiting it at 200-220km/h depending on skill and ball size. the track surface is great, very little bumps, and shit load of grassy run off areas with few gravel traps.
most racing you see there is always close (supers, motoG, etc) I want to try and get some onboard footage from my bike onto files..
Lasnoe: the bike behind was a 2001 gixxer 1k with full system which i think is his main mod, but he is also a very good rider.
What did he use to record the lap? (type of camera, where & how he mounted it) The picture was just so good that if I want to tape my track session and I would definately use whatever he is using.

Used a screen mounted mini cam with a standard digital camcorder, nothing to it really.
Might have to get some more footage next month..
