i have the usual shock question.my shock stock 92 1100, needs to be rebuilt?Or i need to buy a new one!Don't know of any rebuilders, and don't want to pay $1000+ for a new one! What should i do?there's one on e-bay,but it has a 1100 pound spring. How would that work on the street?
If it's your forks, you can rebuild them with new partsa from Suzuki. Much cheaper then buyer all new forks. I did a rebuild about a year ago and put new Lockhart Phillips springs in. Not hard, just time comsuming.

Traxxion dynamics does great work. They did the suspension work for my racebike. I was very satisfied. I'm not sure if they'll do an oem shock rebuild, you'll have to ask. Watch ebay, you may find a shock every once in awhile.
Works Performance, builds a nice shock for your bike, and it wont break your wallet.
An added bonus, its rebuildable. They will ask you questions about your weight and riding style.
When you get the shock its tuned for you.
Any fine tuning, they will do the first for free (its included in the price of the shock).
Ive used several, and havent ever had to send one back. (they get it right, the first time).
They have been around for years, and It wont break your bank.
