General bike turbo question?

Looking on just running 6-8 psi next year on a mostly stock motor (maybe a head spacer to lower the compression...but that'd be it). I don't need a t3/t4 or 60 trim or anything mondo fucking huge like that. My question is...i was really into dsm's and i can have a guy build my manifold for pretty good and get an adapter plate that will fit a 13g onto it, (the turbo of the 1st gen automatic dsm's). Question is...is there anything smaller in the world of bike turbo's? Or what....or is what i'm looking at a good small size. (Its internally gated at 6psi so I don't have to worry about the dump tube or anything for an external wastegate.)

Re: General bike turbo question?

6-8 pounds will be good. you dont want to get to small of a turbo or you will just be heating up there air charge trying to push the turbo hard. i would search around on the net for turbos and see what is going to be best for your applaction. \
i looked on-line and i would get a GT-15.
good luck

Re: General bike turbo question?

Ya thanks for that....seriously considering the GT15 or a DSM T25. the .ar's on them are similar to what i'm looking for. And both are garrett turbos...so proven performance there. Ok guys, thanks for the help.
