Okay...surely no one has posted this vid yet. Some cops got a little rough with some 64-year-old guy down on Bourbon Street. One cop even put a reporter up against a cop car even as he was trying to show his credentials. I'd say they are a bit stressed yet from the hurricane.

they just had a story about it on fox news. the old man is going to court for a PI, assualting an officer, and resisting arrest. they had a better video and a closer after shoot. two cops were standing over him and him had his foot on the guys back. his white shirt looked like a red tie die the side walk had blood all over it and as he turned over you could tell he had some serious head injuries. the one cop that put the producer against the car said something like "i have been here for 6 weeks and i am doing everything i can do to stay alive, leave now".
the three cops have been susspended. and the chief made a comment about how they are bad cops. they also mentioned how cops looted the city, even stool cadillacs from a dealership.
thats really sad, I was down there workin with my National Guard unit, and we worked with the lousiana State patrol mind you and those guys seemed alright.

How is that an abuse of power from the officers trying to arrest the guy. He was not cooperating and was taken to the ground where it is much easier subdue a subject. Second he was not trying to break the guys leg, he was applying a pain compliance hold. The cop on the horse is there so bystanders don't interfere and to protect the other officers when they are not looking. And the guy from the press stuck his nose in where it didnt belong. So either get your ass down there and help or shut the fuck up. And yes i was down there for a week and I didn't get paid. And as i like to say call 411 next time you are in an emergency.

The beat the fuck out of that dude, and left him laying on the sidewalk in a pool of his own blood. Even if he was resisting arrest, they didn't have to use that much force on him. The cop on the horse was running interference, trying to shield the beatdown from the camera, and the other cop did not have to rough up that reporter that was no threat to him physically.
