Re: 636 R or gixxer 750 ?
Both are great bikes, seeing I have had both. The 750 is a great bike with a little more power down low. Ultimately though, I would rather have the slipper clutch, wave- style rotors, lap timer, etc, etc then the extra 7-8 hp for the street. I dont have many miles on my 636, but its an awesome bike so far.

Maybe you'd be interested in seeing what Zook has to offer in their '06 600s. A 750 costs nearly as much as a 1000. So if price is gonna affect your decision, a 600 bike might be your best bet. And I just don't want to recommend a Kawi.

Re: 636 R or gixxer 750 ?
I just wanted to give everyone the bad news... Unfortunately I went with the 636...
I got it at the broward bike shop place on Sunrise blvd just east of I-95 in Fort Lauderdale FL.
I paid 8390 OTD for it. + I Also bought my G/F her first bike, an 05 zzr600, and I paid 7350 OTD. for her zzr600.
here are the pics of our first ride together.
We did the snake road ride all around from 27 to clewiston back down to alligator alley and then back east to hollywood.
OHH YEAH !
I'm in the black jacket with the white skull on the back, my g/f is wearing the white ICON jacket.

Oh yeah, get to Competition and get some boots. And look online for an undertail. Those Kawi mudflaps are terrible, the bike will look so much better without it.
