Re: Hey Geek, what type of camera...

I'm not who you asked for advice but I am very happy with my Canon Digital ELPH S110. The pictures come out as good as any other camera with it's size being the best attribute. It's small enough to put in a pocket so it get's to travel a lot.

Re: Hey Geek, what type of camera...

my 2 cents on DC's

i own an olympus c2100UZ its a bit larger than usual but its cos its got a big fark off 10x optical zoom, it also takes short video in .mov files the 10x optical zoom can be used all the way thru and with the image stabiliser u can actually take perfect shots with the digital range which i have found rare on most DC's (boast all this zoom but it cant be used)

it is a whole lot more than what a novice needs but not quite pro...

highly recommended but not as pracical as an elph....

Re: Hey Geek, what type of camera...

SONY SONY SONY

I've never seen a camera that takes such great pics without playing with the settings. The Nikon is advanced, it takes some tweaking and knowledge to get the most out of it.

I would suggest the Sony DCS-S75 or S85. My friend has the S70 and it's BAD ASS!

Enough said.

Hey Geek, what type of camera...

do you use for your pictures. there have been many people post about sony, olympus, etc...but i was curious what you used since you are always taking nice pics. i was thinking about the nikon 995 or maybe the 885 when it comes out. what would you recommend? i would definitly consider the camera that you use (if it's not completely out of my price range)

thank you,

riz
