What is hte most you would go? I don't feel like doing it over (unless of course it handles like crap. Do i have re set my sag? if so will it get more or less sag by raising it? I just put them on the shock under where it bolts to teh swingarm? what will be the easiest way to get a torque wrench onit? thanks

Re: Raising the rear?

I just did mine today I still need to do fork seals and oil etc tomorrow. But I got 3/4 washers from lowes they were gold color and had the right width and fit perfect in there. They were 1.00 ea 2 washers gave me 6.5mm (Or 1/4 inch) of lift. So each washer is 3.25mm thick

Re: Raising the rear?

Now I hear people talk about 6 mm, now is it 6 mm lift of 6 mm of spacers? becasue from my understanding is that every 1 mm of spacer added the bike goes up 1.8mm? and I read in another spot that you want to meassure eye to eye on the shock. Thanks

No standard tools, its very easy to take off. It was easier for me to lay the bike on its side with a mat under the frame slider

I layed it on the side instead of using the jack stands both ways are fine. I just couldnt find one of the legs to my jack stand.... So I just layed it sideways and it came off quick, unbolt the lower bolt take it off and pull the shock as if your going to remove it. Slip the washers in tighten and your all set
