please help i am married to a 750 wn and i am very interested in firking a 1100 engine into it ,,,
i relise you would of coverd this a milion times but hey!

i have been fed loads of difrent stories from people on the subject of what i have to purchace etc. ie cdi coils wireing engine brackets etc. and of course whith type of engine to find as a donor please please can anyone help me with my shoppin list and tips ...

One of two things needs to happen here.
1. Take this shit to the oil-cooled forum where the guys with older generation bikes like to play. or.............
2. Pull your head out of your butt and realize that Suzuki does not make an 1100 GSXR anymore and get yourself a 1K engine.
you obviously dont know what your on about ! surprise surprise !! i am talking about a water cooled 92 750 wn .. oil cooled ?

Please take your own advice and head over to the correct forum, which is what I said in the first place. You guys and your dinosaurs, always trying to jump on our ass. Just so you can understand where I'm coming from, I bought a brand new GSXR750 in 94 and proceeded to mod the crap out of it and compared to the bike I have now, it was a piece of shit. I can appreciate you guys liking the older bikes, that's your perogative.

Now correct me if I'm wrong, but the .4 horsepower advantage does not come close to making up for the 128 pound weight disadvantage. Why do you guys insist on comparing apples with oranges? There is a reason they don't make an 1100 anymore and I didn't bother to post the 1K numbers for two reasons: I don't own a 1k and we all know a stock 1K would hand that 1100 it's ass.

I dont see anywhere on this forum that says its exclusively for newer machines, Just Tech forums, MODS & HOW to's. If you've got no advice why bother posting?
By the way the only reason the newer gixxer makes the same as an 1100 is its in a higher state of tune, ask the boys on the drag strip which motor they would rather have. The old addage there is no substitute for cubes still stands!
