undo the lower hose (the one that hooks to the WP) out comes the coolant,,,,refill. you shouldn't need to flush it on a 02 but if you want to you can get some flush product's at the autoparts store.......

Open Radiator, remove lower hose....let drain.

Fill with new coolant, run bike for a few to let it get hot and circulate......let cool a bit, then drain a second time.

Then fill the radiator up to the top, run the bike some. With your tank lifted if you look at the water pump there is a 10mm bolt to remove to allow air to bleed out of the system.

If you don't do this you will have to keep filling your resi and keep an eye on the level.

Re: Flush Coolant on 02 GSXR750

When the bike is hot the resi should be at the upper line (or above) Or when cool it should be at , at least the lower line.

The bike will have to warm to about 200 or better, to get the coolant to circulate. Let it circulate a bit too, to work the air out. Better get bleed it with that bolt under the tank i told you about.

Thats it

Its a 10mm bolt with phillips head screw driver slots also on the water pump. When you look at the water pump on the back of the motor it is pointing directly at you. If you crack that and coolant flows out, you are good and the air is bleed out.

So how often should you drain and replace the fluid... i too have an 02 750 and have only refilled the fluidis once (it was a little low when i got it so i topped it off). so is it time that i replace my fluids?
