Looks to me that a cop got a little out of hand. Sure, the guy had no right to do what he did, but IMO, the cop committed a crime by hitting him like this. Why would it be considered attempted murder for a civilian to do this, but when a cop does it, it's ok?

The person being chased slammed on the brakes so the patrol car would hit it...like it did...Then, the guy hops behind the trunk and gets into a shootout with officers...He obviously gets back into the car, runs down the road, over some spike strips and loses control...When this happens, he tries to get out of his car again to shoot at police again, and the officer used the force necssary to stop the threat. Deadly force had been justified with the shooting just as the ramming with the car was justified deadly force.

I shoot consistent 299's and 300's at the range...I hit the target accurately with all of my weapons and I still missed what I was shooting at. I hit a car three times (two in the radiator and one in the marker light) that was speeding towards me on a one way street.
Hard to explain the rush of being shot at, in my opinion it was not exesive force since he already opened fire twice before the car rammed him, hope the dude is dead since he was prob afkn nut anyway.

I think you'd better look up the definition of point blank range my friend!!! Youde have to be pretty damn good shot w/ a pistol from the range of the initial engagement.....Granted maybe the Officer w/the shotgun should have hit, but we dont know if he did or not...

look just before the cop hits the bad guys driver door. I see puffs of smoke. he is shooting at the cop. totally justified. good job by him!
The cops were totally justifed in what they did. Comparing a cop in the line of duty to a civilian is apples and oranges.
And you can't tell if the guy was hit by bullets or not, he could have been an just been hyped up on drugs. He obvisoully wanted to die. Sucicide by cop.
