I think most everyone here is being a little over sensitive... these guys could be getting paid to prune the population, but from the vid I don't believe there is any way of knowing that.
This seems like a very reasonable way to take care of an outta control pest population. Alot more so than poisoning them and making them suffer for hours. As it appeared to me all of these shots were kill shots. It even seemed that the ones standing next to them didn't even know what happen... I don't think you could make it any more humane.

similar to a problem here in NY with the deer population this year...there are way too many deer because of an increase in population in the past 5 years and a decrease in the number of hunting permits, that it has ruined the eco system in much of the state...its so bad that some countied issue a nuisance permit that pretty much allows for the slaughter of as many deer as you please...and you still get the dumb tree hugging activists on tv talking about save Bambi...unfuckinreal

2. place one hand on wall for balance
3. bend slightly at the waist
4. grasp stick that is protruding from your ass with a firm grip
5. pull stick with swift motion while slightly twisting

The rat population needs to be controlled but as you can see, prarie dogs have VERY accute senses, and will run underground at the first sign of trouble. Therefore they must be engaged at a long range, and to hit the large rodents, yet small animals , you must use a adaquately powered rifle that is capable of making the long range shot accurately. A side effect is blowing the animal to peices/ turning it inside out/ giving it 5 seconds of hangtime. Obviously this video was to highlight the most effective and humane way of removing overcrowded prarie dog towns.
Of course its bullshit, id use a bigger badder cartridge to blow those lil fuckers sky-higher and into more peices. And yea its funny as hell, I wanna see the peta people out there trying to stop them from getting shot. Then I want to see the peta people covered in groundhog guts
