Re: Guess the track & turn #...
If you look real close, you can make out a nest of killer ants just underneath the flipping GSXR, so I know it's in Cali
What I want to know is who had the f**ked up trackday experience, and are they alright??

Re: Guess the track & turn #...
I'm not looking for hints! I don't know the #s man - only been there once!
I'm right, aren't I?
And what's the prize, anyway?
EDIT:
Alright punk... made me do the research... is it turn 3 at ButtonWillow (which I wouldn't have known if it wasn't for shedevil)???????
What do I get if I'm right? A nasty cigar and a shot of day-old scotch?

Hey...what's wrong w/day old scotch?
Once you get past the green tinge and the plastic bottle...it's all good!
btw dude...we need to get you gainfully employed. You're tearin up the board with a vengeance unseen in the past.
I do believe it's T3....most guys'll just stand it up & blow thru to T5. This guy just hung on to the bitter end.

I was thinking maybe turn 6 before the jump, but that's only a slight bend. My first guess was turn three, but it's hard to see if that's a grade forming on the left of the pic or not.

Doesn't look like Buttonwillow to me at all... Pavement isn't that dark anywhere on that track adn neither is the soil.
Background sure looks like Buttonwillow tho.

scenery does look like BW.. possibly turn 3.. but then again, doesn't BW have red/white curbing on the inside... The last time I was there, the pavement didn't look that dark and had like rumble strips going into it. weird.

Def BW folks... i think it's T3. You can see I-5 and the camera vantage seems to be consistent w/the T5 track worker barrier. I'll never forget the time Miagi was
outside the barrier taking pix and I stepped the rear out BIG in T4. We both shat ourselves.

There's definitely r/w rumble in three and four, I distinctly recall dropping puck on both of them in series a few times.
As for the ground color, didn't they just repave past turn two or something. I thought that whole stretch looked pretty fresh and didn't start getting shady again until after turn 5.
