2014 GSXR 1000 Special Edition

I think they got the colors all wrong once again. They should have flipped flopped the colors. Needs more blue. What do you all think?

I don't like it at all. Lipstick won't do it the thing needs a complete redesign with modern electronics with rider aides.

Re: 2014 GSXR 1000 Special Edition

I wonder if a real spec'd up version would sell (without TC, ABS, etc.)? Ohlins forks & shock, Brembo mc/rotors/calipers, OZ forged aluminum wheels with Pirelli Supercorsa's, Akrapovic full system, Yosh head gasket, degreed cams, mildly ported head and bigger injector units, HID headlight? Maybe even... an aluminum fuel tank? If they could do that for $30k (ie Duc 1199R price with similar specs) I'd buy it in a second. Would be the best bike out there I think. Oh - special paint - good old racing dkblue/medblue/ltblue/white.

Crescent Suzuki GB will build you anything as long as your pockets are deep enough to pay for it. They start with a base model and just adding as you spend, 30,000 dollars is aprox 24/2500 that's going to buy a fair bit & and an ally tank. Can also organise shipping for aprox 1000,so when ever your ready.

It looks like 1993 threw up all over it! Not a good thing.

Re: 2014 GSXR 1000 Special Edition

What would Crescent do for 18000, about $30000 at current 1.6 ratio? And I want a Suzuki 12-24mo warranty of course!

Re: 2014 GSXR 1000 Special Edition

Colors are ok but i was hoping for a new redesign this year, was wanting another bike cause the miles are racking up on my k9. Sure csnt convince myself to buy basically the same bike over again. Im a bit sad at just another paint scheme this year very dissapointed.

Re: 2014 GSXR 1000 Special Edition

Too much white. Hate the rims. Blue crankcase cover, really? Blue seat, really? White front fender, really? Would a man ride this bike? The graphics team in Suzuki should be fired. The 2013 Millennium edition was too bad, except for the red lips around the headlight. Why not a traditional blue and white paint scheme that is instantly recognizable from a mile away? Get with it Suzuki!

So much for the new engine they have been working on for the GP bike trickling down.

Just another bold new graphics.

Is that the only thing they will offer up for 2014? Seriously
