well i got up at 4am to drive up there., uggg was nervious as hell to go out with the shoulder .., but felt better trying it at a track i know well than a new track., first practice i went slow and tossed the bike around and tested hanging off., wow it felt great ., 2nd practice went out and pushed it alittle., as i do not want to hit the ground..lol... was not diving into the corners at speed as normal. , but midcorner and exit was almost normal. , so i felt happy., did my 1 race and those damn rc1000's and big duc's just have too much power for the sv ., lol.. good launch but then they all hit there power and gone,. but went into turn 1 very well for what i expected., and the switch was hard to keep off in my head,. but i kept it off most of the race and stayed behind this guy going slow telling myself this is good.., then coming into the bowl i lost the little switch for a minute and passed the guy in the bowl then stepped it up some,. felt really good and real good for the head too ., only ran a 26's normal pace should be 20's ., btu still for 8 weeks down time and a sore shoulder i was more than happy., now i can crash my brains out at Barber and be happy.......

i rode the dirtbike yesterday, clutch stuck and hit hit the powerband, threw the front wheel skywards and kinda tweeked my shoulder. Over did it just a lil.

good to hear ya got back out there dave. glad the shoulder is feeling healthy. even though i didnt need surgery i just started working out last week again. not heavy or crazy yet as the shoulder is still sort of weak, but im doing something.. crazy shit how long it is taking my shoulder to be workable again.. i guess all that scar tissue i already have in there doesnt help matters.. but anyway, good for you man.
oh dont get me wrong it is still sore and weak ., but it is getting better., and yes this shit seems to take forever to heal ., i almost wish i had broken it instead... uggg., plus we are not 22 anymore either..lol......
and make sure you start out light., as hard as that is ., it fucks with my mine to have these little weights when lifting...
