05 K5 GSXR 750 Projectors/led angel eyes/demon eyes and red intake tube leds

I know someone is going to bash, and say something about this has been covered, or does your research, But I have spent many hours over the last few days reading on her and gsxr.com and YouTube. I have not found exactly want imp needing for what imp trying to do on my k5 750. I purchased through sportbikelites.com a single projector head light for my low beams with yellow led halo around the projector. I went with led instead of a ccfl light because I have heard a lot bad reviews on them burning out quick. I also purchased the demon light option in yellow, and ordered the red led halos for the intake tubes also. I have found much on any of these yet, just mostly on the ccfl and projector installation.

Iím wondering if anybody has done any of this yet and could give me any pointers. I have moderate mechanic skills and feel decently comfortable doing this, I have just only ever installed plug n plays hids with ballasts. I have never opened up the housing and installed projectors.

Just wondering if anybody had any pointers on any of it or how they wired it up etc.

If it will help they should be here in a few day, would anybody like me to do a write up on this possibly
.

Why would you get the demon eye and halo in yellow but the intake lights red?

Yup seems to be a bunch of assess here, if you read my OP instead of bashing , I stated I have read many thread and watched YouTube videos on the subject. And am still researching, I was just looking for any pointers from people that have already done this.

Svs = trolling ass. I hope the other mods are more helpful and not like you.. To each their own. I sure I could pick your bike for something I don't like

I haven't done this but if I were you I'd buy an extra headlight housing. Work on it off the bike and once you finish it install it. This way you are not rushed and still can ride! Sell your stock headlight after you finish to make some money back... As far as how to attempt it, i cant help to much.. lol

Re: 05 K5 GSXR 750 Projectors/led angel eyes/demon eyes and red intake tube leds

I just installed some red leds into my intakes.. not sure how the you have are installed...

But I took the front off, stuck the led to the inside of the inlet tube and drilled a small hole for the wire to feed through.. put it all back together in the reverse order..

I also repainted the inlet screens... since they are out and looked a bit crusty..

Re: 05 K5 GSXR 750 Projectors/led angel eyes/demon eyes and red intake tube leds

Never done projector kit on headlights nor have I done a street bike headlight but I did paint the housing of my Ram SRT10 trucks headlights. I just put one headlight in the oven at 350+ degrees for about 7-10 minutes then pulled it out and was able to get the clear front cover off to access the inside of the light. Then painted them flat black and to reinstall the lens I put back in the over for 7-10 minutes and then pulled it out and pressed the front lens back on. Once it cooled down and was all dry I put an extra bead of black silicone around to make sure it was sealed tight. Should be same process for your bike to get the headlight open but like I said I have no experience with the halo install.
