thats a snazzy tank, particularly like front mount.. and in my experiences, you can't use a stock carb tank on FI as the vent lines get in way with the FI pump..
and thats a strange looking vent pipe,,,REALLY prone to damage,,even while servicing the bike in the pits,,,the regular one way valves used on most kit tanks are a lot better,,,and wont get damaged unless you crash upside down,,LOL..
Well, there is more to this bike than meets initial disclosure: I see Nice forks, possibly mag triple clamps, race upper fairing brace, a steering damper, but oddly enough stock clip ons, no switch gear on left clip on, stock master cylinders

Re: Aluminium Fuel tank
right chaps,as pointed out the tank, ero/xro are difernet but will fit over ome air box,but an ero tank will not fit xro air box,the carb xro6/7 tank will not fit xro8/9 air box,the xro box on the xro8/9 came in three sizes and could also use the xro6/7 that came in two sizes and aslo the kit ero one...so the tanks are all made to fit the correct air box, just getting an ali tank and then getting it to fit is a gamble.
the tank in question i have seen before and if any one noticed the tank is set up for twin fillers so i guess its 24lt tank that needs the endurance air box with is it..(some 24lt set ups need the matching air box as the air box is ...yet agine another type has seen them with cdi inside and a different shape)..
it has a fuel return for inj set up next to fuel pump...the make up of the tank i have seen before,in one way it looks like an early xr05/6 tank as in the way it is made up(the pieces of ali to make the tank up under neath, have a list some were of the amount of bits in a tank...later tanks had fewer bits in there construction)
but if not all the tanks were moded at some point...so have to take it on face value ,tank would have all paint removed to see top construction, three or four parts construction.
the flat bottomed edge that has been pointed out could be for the air tray, all ero/xro tanks have this.

i doubt this is an endurance tank,,,doesnt seem set up for dual dry breaks,,,,most of the dual dry break tanks usually have a pretty reiforced mouting area..and i have never seen that kind of tank vent on a genuine Kit tank,,,not to mention it looks like really rough construction..could it be a copy of some kind???
