Back in 1992, my first bike was a 1986 GSXR 1100. A little bit much for a first bike, but I made it a year with it as my only transportation before I traded it for a Chevy truck. Still wish I had that bike. Have had several sport bikes.. '95 900 RR, '89 GSXR 1100, 2005 R6 and currently have an 07 Aprilia RSV1000R.. but never lost the desire to ride my old '86.
Just wanted to say Howdy. I will be picking this up next week. It was setup for track, but the seller is helping me convert back to street use. Cannot WAIT.
Where in Austin? I'm temporarily in FL but lived in Avery Ranch up by Cedar Park/Round Rock for a while. Moving back later this year

Weather is great, 75-80 and sunny most of the time - but there are NO turns here at all and traffic sucks so I left my bike with a friend in Austin until I get back

I'll be back for a visit in late February or early March, maybe for MotoGP in April too - and probably move back for good in June or so

I'm in short sleeves till we get into the 40's! Everyone thinks I'm crazy, maybe they are right but I'm Nordic hot blooded. On nights like we currently have, I sleep with the door open and two fans going. It will get into the 30's in my bedroom at night and I sleep soooo well!
