Ziptie Stitching
I was tempted to expoxy my fairings again like the previous owner, instead I opted to try something I thought was cool. Taking inspiration from the JDM/Drift scene, I wanted to try zip tie stitching. It's not as tedious as you'd think, but it takes some patience and a bit of muscle.
I thought of going just the straight with the ties, but did't think it'd look right, so I went with X's instead. There's no real method to it, just gotta vibe it. I went on ebay, bought a bag of blue zip ties that were about 6". Then using a pencil, I made a general ideal of what it'd look like and I drilled holes from there.
Make sure you feed from the back so it's clean in the front
I did the front fender with it on the motorcycle, tire and all. I'm not drilling galvanized steel, so I wasn't worried about pushing too hard and nicking the tire.
Also you'll have to find a way to suppor the back of the fairings when drilling. I wore gloves when I used my hand, but they got pulled right off so I tossed them. Overall, I think it can out nice, and it took all of 40 minutes for what you see.

Re: Ziptie Stitching
You can also try wax twine cord, it works better than zipties and you can use a marker to color it.

Re: Ziptie Stitching
ghetto fabulous
Have used it trackside to get crashed bikes back together and through tech, but would not consider it any kind of long term solution.

It looks like shit, but as long as you're happy with it, why should we care.

Re: Ziptie Stitching
Ive done this on my old car...its lowered so the front lip got messed up.
i did it temporarily as a fix, until i got a new one installed.
as for your bike. its not that bad. but personally wouldn't keep it on for long.. more like a temp fix. -but whatever you gotta do man.
