Re: Mechanics Dream
Wow... If only I'd had one of these when I rebuilt my first car. I'd have had to break to recharge the thing in the middle of the day from figuring out the tools I needed, but would have saved a lot of time.

In all my years I can say I have NEVER needed something like that. Looks like a lot more trouble than what it is worth.
It IS pretty cool, just not practical at all.

Has its uses, most of us on here doesn't need one really. I could of used this when I was working for a contractor on military vehicles granted it may have been a little PITA when I moved to diffrent sites but whould have been well worth it.

Re: Mechanics Dream
If I was still an auto mechanic, I think I'd love one. You get up and down so many times it gets old fast. I remember some days when I was just about ready to drop from fatigue, where standing up from the floor for what felt like the 200th time was not so easy.
I think the chair is impressive. If it is as easy to maneuver as the video makes it look, and you have the right surface to run it on, I think it could make it quicker and more comfortable to get some things done.
