continuing the trend, here is #6, I am back in town for one day, will do stuff around the house, do CORRELL1000 carbs, and head back to kansas for another and final week (at least for this project).
Will bring you Russell #7 next week....if you care, #7 is rare and different, and quite a looker.
Some have some not. My first, bought somewhere around '93 was worn alot and has a huge scar from a 160ish mph crash, last time it was worn. Some are new, some are worn but one or twice, like #7 (worn 3 times).
I am excited, I'll be out of state in Kansas (let me say again.... Hopefully for the last week. As I have been there for what will be 5 out of the last 7 weeks), but Tuesday my wife should pick up my new never sold in the USA Arai Chris Walker helmet personally signed by him and arranged by our own awesome Hamill12!
Ahhh.... The pain... Why why do you do this to me? What have I ever done to you?
Tj already made me a stonking deal in a pm, I am ashamed to be so tempted.....
you are GOING to like #7, I just know it, it may be my favorite. Just wait.............................................. .................................................. ..............................................haha h
Do you ever wear them? Obviously not the new ones, but the used ones? Do you buy them in whatever size you can find or do you only buy a certain size? Just curious. Seems like it can get quite expensive with some of those Suomy and Arai's...

I had a helmet box with a Ripper signed Arai rep . The retail was £499. The sig was a personal favour. The size was as requested & the winning bid on eBay wasn't over £120 . All in all dapper & I can guarntee it's as clean as a factory Finnish & the sig is genuine.
Think about the potentional value in 20 years. I'm sure Chris has.
John.. Hypothetical question... If someone were to get a new "FROSTY" helmet, would they want someone else to take it to the USGP in March and see if they can track down Mr Daytona to sign it?

Hey that would be there up with Guy!!!! If it could happen the Arai is destinen for the cabinet. Hench but I'm still going to wear it at least 3 times.!!!!
That's the magic number.
3 is the number of times Ru$$ell (that's how he used to spell it) #7 has been worn.
Just wait till I put up the pics....
Btw, trivia, Russell is STILL getting paid by both H-D &and Yamaha, as he rode for them back when rider made mint, and had his money set up in deferred long term payments....
