I've been looking for a nice set of turn signals (cheap fake carbon fiber ones came with the bike when I bought it). Seen a few cool ideas and decided to go ahead and just make my own. Let me know what you think. After they get powder coated I'm hoping they will be pretty much blend in and be un-noticeable when off.
Lights off
I can see em fine. So are they actually turn signals or just running lights / LED's of some sort? Because from what I see there are still turn signals attached to the license plate holder.
Once the pegs are powder coated, I will wire them up for the turn signals and remove the current ones when I put on a different eliminator kit. These pics just were to see the brightness of them, they are just hooked to the battery in the pics.
i didn't even notice them in the first picture until you mentioned it.
The light output appears to be so much stronger than stock (as the lens for stock should be to diffuse the light), I wonder what it will look like in operation. gl to ya
that said, i'm interested to see what your bike looks like from other angles. post up some pics?
Alright went out on a ride the other day with a buddy and he said these look pretty good, nice and bright. He even wants to make a set. I just love how it helped clean up the tail section.
