Tattoo critique
The girl im dating got a tattoo while I was out of town , and she was pissed when I gave her my opinion of it.
I wont say too much, ill just post the picture and ask what some opinions are of it.
Not looking for a ton of smart ass comments. Just a little honesty
Thanks

Re: Tattoo critique
Doesn't look like a bad job, but I don't think you're talking about the quality of the tattoo. At least it's not a GINNER tattoo

Re: Tattoo critique
At least it's all spelled correctly, not a very original or artistic font. Looks like it was done on a whim and sounded like you didn't know she was planning on doing it?

Re: Tattoo critique
Hahahahahhha. That's more or less what I though, too.
She said its meaningful to her. She says its an acknowledgement of all the mistakes she has made.
Thar was only one of my problems with it, though

Re: Tattoo critique
Bless her heart.
Question is, is this really applicable or is it some lame attempt at seeming badass, from the outside in. Something tells me she's no Keith Richards. Then again if she is, I would say you might want to find yourself a new lady friend.

Oh she's had more than a few fuck ups, some pretty life changing.
I could get over the words themselves.

One, its nowhere near original. Not the phrase, not the placement, not the layout.
Two, it's poorly done. The lettering is inconsistent in thickness. The scroll work is slanted and cumbersome.
To me, it's everything a tattoo shouldn't be.
I have one. its my own idea, and no one else will ever have it.
If its not about you, then what's the point?

Re: Tattoo critique
Of course it isn't original, what is these days? Lets be honest. It doesn't look bad, it isn't spelled wrong, and it meaningful to her, so who cares what you think, or someone else thinks of it.
